New Delhi: With just two days remaining until the grand consecration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, the divine abode of Lord Ram Lalla is preparing for the sacred Pran Pratishtha ceremony, which will infuse the idol with divine consciousness.

A video shared on X by DD News provides an exclusive glimpse inside the magnificent temple. The footage captures the grand marble structure’s footsteps bathed in light, while its pillars and columns are adorned with vibrant bouquets of flowers. Inside the temple, dedicated workers on ladders are observed hanging multi-colored flower garlands from the ceiling.

Scheduled to commence at 12:30 pm on January 22, the consecration ceremony marks the culmination of a week-long series of rituals performed at the temple to prepare for the Pran Pratishtha. A team of priests, led by Lakshmikant Dixit, will conduct the main rituals of this significant ceremony.

At the heart of the ceremonial proceedings, positioned within the sanctum sanctorum, resides the 51-inch idol of Lord Ram Lalla—a portrayal of Lord Ram at the age of five. This intricately carved idol, crafted from black stone by Mysuru-based sculptor Arun Yogiraj, was unveiled in its entirety on Friday, showcasing the deity’s countenance along with a golden bow and arrow.

The grand occasion will witness the presence of Prime Minister Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, alongside numerous other dignitaries. Renowned figures such as businessman Mukesh Ambani, megastar Amitabh Bachchan, and former cricketer Sachin Tendulkar are among the 8,000 guests who have been invited to partake in the ceremony.
