Over the last two years, more than 13 crore devotees, including 16,000 international visitors, have flocked to the sacred site.

Sunil Verma, Chief Executive Officer of Kashi Vishwanath Dham and Special Area Development Authority, revealed that from December 13, 2021, to December 6, 2023, an impressive 15,930 foreign devotees have booked for a seamless darshan of the revered Vishwanath Temple.

The pilgrimage site has experienced a substantial surge in religious tourism, with a record-breaking 12 crore 92 lakh 24 thousand people visiting from December 13, 2021, to December 6, 2023, according to the CEO.

Mr. Verma highlighted the increasing interest by noting that bookings for 2023 have nearly doubled compared to 2022. This substantial upswing reflects a significant rise in both domestic and international enthusiasm for the spiritual experience offered at Kashi.

During the period from December 13, 2021, to December 6, 2023, the pilgrimage site has witnessed a remarkable surge in religious tourism, with a record-breaking 12 crore 92 lakh 24 thousand people visiting, as reported by the CEO.
