On a different note, Vicky Kaushal shared insights into his comparatively spontaneous proposal to Katrina Kaif. Contrary to elaborate gestures, Vicky confessed that his proposal unfolded just a day before their wedding. “It was very last minute,” confessed Vicky during the conversation. Recounting the moment, he disclosed that the proposal took place over a dinner in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan, the venue chosen for their impending nuptials. Reflecting on the timing, Vicky humorously added, “I had been warned by everyone that if you don’t propose, you’ll hear about it for the rest of your life. So, I did it just a day before the wedding, during an intimate dinner before any friends or family arrived.”

During the course of the episode, Vicky Kaushal shared another intriguing detail about his journey with Katrina Kaif. Due to the constraints imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic, Vicky couldn’t meet Katrina’s mother, Suzanne Turquotte, and her siblings for two years. The long-awaited introduction finally happened just a week before their wedding.

So, I met them for the first time, literally a week before the marriage. We decided to celebrate with a party at my place, where we all gathered, enjoyed some drinks, and danced the night away,” Vicky recounted, emphasizing the delayed but joyous meeting with Katrina’s family.

Elaborating on the significance of the initial meeting, Vicky Kaushal expressed, “The ice was broken effortlessly. Instantly, we recognized something special in each other, and a strong connection was established. Within two hours of our first meeting, we found ourselves dancing on the floor to Tip Tip Barsa Paani. The barriers were shattered, melted away, and we just felt an incredible sense of comfort and camaraderie.”
